Credits & References
If you are writing a publication using data, make sure you give proper credits. Have a look at our "References & Citations" wiki for some examples.
Publication of data
Many journals require now that all data which were used for a publication are made publicly available. If you like you can use the following sites to publish your data:
FRDR
"The Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR) is a bilingual publishing platform for sharing and preserving Canadian research data. It is a curated, general-purpose repository, custom built for large datasets." Check out their website: https://www.frdr-dfdr.ca/repo
For information about how to transfer your data to this repository check out this website: https://borealisdata.ca/guides/en/latest/api/intro.html#what-is-an-api
Boreales UQAM
"Ce dépôt est un dépôt réservé à la communauté de recherche de l’UQAM pour qui les autres solutions de dépôts ne répondent pas de façon adéquate à leurs besoins." Check out their website: https://borealisdata.ca/dataverse/uqam
Reviews
Boreal UQAM is supposed to be better for large datasets than FRDR, but apparently it cannot be updated easily.
