User account on our servers
If you need a user account on our servers, ask your supervisor (must be a professor of the ESCER Centre) to send an email to Katja Winger (winger.katja@uqam.ca) with your full name, email address (preferably UQAM email address) and status (intern, master, PhD, PostDoc, RA, ...). In case Katja is absent, ask your supervisor to fill out the following form:

Connection to our servers
If you have trouble connecting to our servers from your PC, laptop, Mac, etc. have a look at the following page:
If you cannot find there what you are looking for, send an email to Katja Winger (winger.katja@uqam.ca). Let her know if you are connecting from Windows, Max or Linux. In case you are trying to connect from a Windows computer, are you using WSL to connect? If Katja is absent, make an appointment with Frédérik Toupin - see below.

If you need help with a certain programming language, let her know with which (Python, Matlab, shell, Fortran, ...).
If you are having problems with a script, isolate the problem and give her just the command(s) she needs to execute to reproduce the problem.
If you are having problems with a script/program, let her know where she can find it.
GEM
If you are having problem with a GEM model simulation, send an email to Katja Winger (winger.katja@uqam.ca). Let her know where she can find the config files of the simulation causing problems as well as the listing with the error message - if there is one.
